We are the mobile carpet store based in Heybridge near Maldon that serves all of Essex & bordering areas. We are in an ideal position for the major towns of Colchester & Chelmsford. Having one of the largest selections of carpets, carpet tiles, laminate flooring & vinyl's all of which come with free fitting,underlay,doorbars,delivery & all accessories and can be chosen in the comfort of your home/office at a time to suite you. We Guarantee to beat any major warehouse (Carpetright/Allieds etc.) by at least 10% on total price for the same quality products. Our services are praised by the disabled, busy housewife's, unwilling husbands & many more who find it hard to shop in to days hectic lifestyle. Established in 1988 County carpets is one the oldest established mobile carpet stores in the area. Unlike many retail premises we do not have massive overheads thus enabling us to pass on savings direct to the public. We are not connected in any way to any other retailers or are we a franchise we are completely independent. Being a small company we can offer that personal touch but still have the power to handle any size order large or small. We also offer a first class after sales service including carpet cleaning.
All staff are thoroughly trained by myself ,I have had over 35 years carpet retail & fitting experience many with large multiple & higher class department stores. All products are selected by myself .We refuse over 40% of products offered, either on the grounds of quality or value for money thus enable us to maintain our high standards at reasonable prices.

Linda will be your first port of call, she is there to answer your telephone enquires & to arrange your estimates & fitting dates, she is also the company secretary & has been running the show with Chris since the start. |

This is Chris the director/Estimator & tea maker for the company. Chris has been in the carpet trade since 1970 working as salesman & manager for companies like Eastern carpets & Harris carpets whilst learning his fitting skills in the evening & weekends before coming self employed with County Carpets & taking the company to ltd in 2004 with an approx turnover in excess of 1/4 million |

Meet John the fitting manager who has been at Chris's side since leaving school in 1996 ,now an established first class fitter in all aspects of the trade, John often gets the Mickey taken out of him by customers for his boyish looks but don't be fooled he will not leave a job until he is 100% satisfied & he enjoys a good moan when things are not right. |

Aaron joined us in February 2007 as a trainee, who has impressed myself & many of our customers with his politeness & ability to learn, Aaron was originally a roofer (since leaving school) working near the heavens now spending his time on his knees must make him the holy man of the team. |
